On 25 May 2019, The China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC) delegation led by Dr. CHEN Bo, CMAC Deputy-Secretary General, visited the Chambre Arbitrale Maritime de Paris (CAMP) in Paris, France and was warmly welcome by CAMP President Prof. Philippe DELEBECQUE and CAMP Secretary-General Mr. Michel LEPARQUIER. The two sides had a good exchange of information on the services and practice areas, rules and procedures, applicable laws, panels and fees of both institutions, as well exchanged views on a number of topics, including the CMAC rules vis-à-vis CAMP rules ,  trends of international arbitration and possible collaborations. In particular, Dr. CHEN Bo heighted the CMAC’s experience on the combination of arbitration with conciliation, as an innovative instrument for solving maritime and commercial disputes.
