On 24 February 2022, Dr Li Hu, Vice Chairman of China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC), and Dr. Chen Bo, Deputy Secretary-General of CMAC, visited All China Lawyers Association (ACLA). Mr. Gao Zicheng (President of ACLA) and other representatives of lawyers warmly received the visitors from CMAC and had a friendly meeting.

Mr Gao Zicheng introduced the latest developments of ACLA and highly recognized the positive efforts made by CMAC in improving the overall level of foreign-related law services and promoting Chinese lawyers' participation in international arbitration practice. He expressed his hope that both sides could fully integrate their platform resources, deepen exchanges and cooperation, and work together to serve a higher level of opening up to the outside world. Dr. Li Hu introduced the history and recent development of CMAC to Mr. Gao Zicheng and the lawyers present. Dr. Chen Bo expressed her hope that CMAC will continue to maintain close cooperation with the legal profession in the future and jointly promote the progress of foreign-related legal services.
