In May 2022, CMAC Qingdao Arbitration Center closed the first arbitration case. The case involved a maritime labor dispute with both parties from Qingdao. The parties and tribunal jointly enabled the arbitration substantially progress without undue delay despite impediments of COVID-19.
CMAC Qingdao Arbitration Center was established on 19 November 2021 in an effort to meet the growing need for dispute resolution services in Qingdao, Shandong Pilot Free Trade Zone and the surrounding area. Staring from its first case, CMAC Qingdao Arbitration Center will make greater efforts to facilitate a fair and efficient dispute resolution for parties, providing favorable conditions for forging Qingdao as an international shipping hub, a world-class international transfer port, and creating a legalized, internationalized and convenient business environment in Qingdao and Shandong Pilot Free Trade Area.
