During February 22 to 24, a delegation led by Dr, LI Hu, Vice Chairman of CMAC visited CCPIT Xiamen, the Administrative Committee of Xiamen Area of China (Fujian) Free Trade Zone, the Xiamen Arbitration Commission and the Xiamen Maritime Court to exchange views on matters such as maritime dispute resolution, construction of the Central Legal District and optimization of the business environment. In the afternoon of February 22, KE Biru, Secretary of the Party Group and President of  CCPIT Xiamen, ZHU Hongqi, Vice President of CCPIT Xiamen, and WANG Qing, Head of the Legal Service Division of CCPIT Xiamen welcomed CMAC and its delegation. During the discussion, Vice Chairman LI Hu introduced the spirit of the speech made by REN Hongbin, Chairman of CCPIT, at the 2023 National Work Conference on the Promotion of International Trade System and the overall work deployment of commercial legal services, as well as the institutional construction and business development of CMAC in recent years. President KE Biru introduced the main work and future development plan of Xiamen CCPIT. Full discussions on relevant work matters were made and the coordination will be strengthened between each other so as to jointly lay out a dense service network for enterprises.

In the morning of February 23, LU Hailin, Deputy Director of the Xiamen Area Management Committee of China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and LIN Yuanzuo, Director of the Bureau welcomed the CMAC delegation. The delegation visited the Free Trade Legal Affairs Building, Xiamen Intellectual Property Court, Intellectual Property Protection Collaborative Center, Maritime Silk Road Legal District Free Trade Pilot Zone Intellectual Property CBD, Xiamen Free Trade Area Big Data Service Center, etc. During the discussion, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on giving full play to the role of maritime arbitration and actively contribute to the construction of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District, and reached many consensuses.

In the afternoon of February 23, ZHANG Yusheng, Secretary-General of Xiamen Arbitration Commission, LIN Wenyang and LI Yanlong, Deputy Secretary-General, welcomed CMAC and its delegation. Vice Chairman LI Hu introduced the business development and foreign exchanges and cooperation of CMAC. Secretary General ZHANG Yusheng introduced the basic information concerning Xiamen Arbitration Commission and its key developments in recent years. Both sides pledged to further strengthen work coordination, learn from each other, continuously enhance the credibility of arbitration, and contribute to regional economic development.

On the morning of February 24, ZHANG Sheng, member of the leading Party Group and Vice President of Xiamen Maritime Court, CHEN Pingping, president of the foreign-related maritime court, and GUO Kunliang, Vice President of the maritime court, welcomed CMAC and its delegation. The two sides held discussions and exchanges on hot issues in maritime judicial and arbitration practice. Both sides expressed the needs of maintaining intimate communications, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, jointly improve the diversified dispute resolution mechanism that organically connects litigation, mediation and arbitration, promote the coordinated development of maritime justice and arbitration, and escort the construction of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road".

QI Ji, Director of the Case Management Division of CMAC HONG Huimin, Deputy Secretary-General of Northeast Asia Arbitration Center of CMAC, HUANG Chenliang, Deputy Secretary-General of Zhejiang Free Trade Zone Arbitration Center, and GUO Xiaoxia, Supervision and Coordination Division of CMAC attended the meetings.
