On 28 January, 2021, CMAC held a seminar to discuss the legal framework covering the operation of CHINA RAILWAY Express (CR Express) which has run for 10 years. This seminar invited more than 20 representatives from legal government departments, judicial system , universities and industry bodies, focusing on hotly debated legal issues concerning the railway bill of lading, a special bill adopted in the transportation service by CR Express. 

The seminar was jointly held by Institute of International Law of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the China International Freight Forwarders Association, the China Maritime Law Association and the Research Center for the Rule of Ocean Law of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Dr. Li Hu, vice chairman of CMAC delivered an opening speech for this seminar. Dr Chen Bo, deputy secretary-general of CMAC shared her opinion as a speaker. Mr. Zhang Yongjian delivered a closing speech for this seminar.
