China Maritime and Commercial Law Report Volume 3 2020: Available on I-LAW.COM

CMAC is pleased to announce Chinese Maritime and Commercial Law Reports (CMCLR) volume 3 was officially published on i-law.com on 25 September, 2020 upon the publishing partnership between CMAC and Informa Law, a leading British publisher.

 

As a quarterly report in English, CMCLR presents China's maritime and commercial arbitration and judicial practices by collecting various types of legal documents such as CMAC arbitration awards and court judgments etc. The CMCLR editorial team is composed of top experts on Chinese maritime and commercial law: Dr. Chen Bo, Deputy Secretary-General of CMAC, served as the Consultant Editor, Professor Si Yuzhuo, CMAC  Arbitrator, served as the Honorary Editor-in-Chief, and Mr Peng Xianwei, CMAC Arbitrator, served as the Editor-in-Chief, and Professor Qin Tianbao, CMAC Arbitrator, served as the Academic Advisor.

 

So far three volumes of CMCLR have been published which collect 12 CMAC cases, regarding salvage at sea, shipbuilding, freight forwarding, marine insurance, logistics and other types of disputes. CMCLR aims to provide an international perspective on China's maritime law and practice  as well as the latest development on China's maritime and commercial arbitration, which would be an important reference for arbitrators, lawyers, legal researchers and industrial experts.
